What is the pack nomenclature?
Male Shadow Wolves have a “pack name,” which is given to them based upon the natural animal their personality or abilities most closely resemble. That animal’s name, with the word, “shadow” at the end of it would be their pack name. To be named “Wolf Shadow,” is a high honor. Female Shadow Wolves, or she-shadows, are named accordingly as well, with the difference being their “shadow’ name comes first and animal affiliation comes second, i.e. “Shadow Dove.” However, both male and female Shadow Wolves also have a human name to prevent human detection or understanding, unless the particular clan in question is ethnically aligned within the Native American tribal system—in which such names would not necessarily draw attention.
