What is the Multiple Intelligence Theory?
The Multiple Intelligence Theory is based on research that Harvard Professor Howard Gardner has done on how people learn. His theory states that people are smart in many different ways. There are seven basic intelligence areas defined by Gardner . They are: Verbal/Linguistic (Word Smart), Musical (Music Smart), Logical-Mathematical (Logic Smart), Visual-Spacial (Picture Smart), Bodily-Kinesthetic (Body Smart), Interpersonal (People Smart) & Intrapersonal (Self Smart).
