What is the MSTT Program?
A. The MSTT program stands for Mathematics Science Transition to Teaching Program. Candidates will work full time while attending GSU. The MSTT project includes a student teaching practicum. This practicum will require participants to request a professional leave of absence without pay for approximately 15 weeks near the end of their program of study. The DeKalb County School System will work with candidates who have successfully completed the program and have earned their clear renewable teaching certificate. The DCSS will ensure that they are given priority status for job placement.
