The tower of Babel was the epitome of what people could do if they were all in agreement. Right afterwards the Bible states that God confused their languages so that people could not communicate to be able to do “anything they could conceive”. (Gen 11:5-8) It’s all about communication. And the only global communication in place today is the INTERNET.
