What is the Long Distance network access fee?
Customers who have long distance enabled on their account are charged a $2.95 network access fee. Many consumers are unaware of this fee but it is a STANDARD telecomunications fee charged by the primary long distance provider of all phone lines in Canada, including Telus. If you look closely at your monthly Telus bill, you will notice a $3.95 charge for this. If you have switched your primary long distance provider to another company, this fee will be charged by your long distance provider instead of Telus.
