The VCU School of Dentistry interview process begins late September and runs through the following February. There is a break for the Holidays from the second week of December until the first week in January. Interviews occur Monday and Tuesday and begin at 7:30 AM promptly each morning. Each candidate will receive two (2) individual one-on-one interviews. Each interview lasts approximately 30 minutes. The set of interviews is followed by a presentation by our Financial Aid Coordinator. Another senior dental student is assigned to the group interviewing for that day and takes the candidates to lunch and a tour of the campus and dental school. If time is available, the candidates will spend time observing a senior dental student administering care to a patient in the Dental Clinic. The interview process usually concludes before 3:00 PM each day.

Applicants who successfully complete the evaluation process will be invited for an interview with a panel of YWCA staff. This panel usually consists of a Human Resources representative and the director of the specific program for which the position is open. The top candidates are generally asked for a second interview.
