What is the filipino hospitality?

The Filipino Hospitality is really one of a kind. Even an uninvited guest is welcome. A typical Filipino house is not completely called a home without it being ready for unexpected visitors. Generally, there’s no such thing as an uninvited guest or a bad time to visit. There will always be something to eat (rice and ulam (the tofu or meat partner of rice), pancit, whatever) that will be offered to you, however difficult the time is. Just be ready for FOOD 🙂 Filipinos also love entertaining foreign visitors. Fall in love with the Philippines!

If they invite you to their home, go. Actually you don’t need an invite, just show up. And then just eat. And eat. And eat. Don’t even try to explain you don’t like what’s been cooked or that you are allergic to some ingredient. It will be placed on a plate anyway. Refusing food is disrespectful. They mean well but often fail to realize not all non-Filipinos like Filipino food.

A type of proper manner. I am not very sure but i think it’s a type of manner somepeople use in their homes. A form of hospitality that comes truly from the heart like how the country made its image as the land of true smiling people.
