What is the difference between Job Fairs, Job Vacancy Listings, and On-Campus Interviewing?
Job Fairs are once – a – year events that our office sponsors, bringing employers to campus generally for one day, to informally meet with you and tell you about their job and internship openings as well as their organizations. You would bring your resume to share with the employer, and talk to them about your strengths and abilities. We sponsor quite a few fairs each year including a Technical, Health, All Majors, Teacher, Human Services, and Summer Jobs/Internship Fair and more. To see a list of upcoming fairs, click here. On-Campus Interviewing is a service where employers come to campus to formally interview students in the Career Services office in the fall and spring semesters, staying usually one day. You can view which employers are coming to campus to interview and see their job/internship positions on our website (BullsEye). Employers generally pre-screen resumes, which means you must follow the On-Campus Interviewing Schedule to be sure you submit your resume online by the w
