What is the difference between ground meat and steak?
.A steak is a cut of meat sliced out of a bigger slab of meat. Ground meat is run through a grinder and sometimes fat trimmings are added into the mix. It’s usually called hamburger. Heat has a tendency to break things down, that’s why we keep our milk in the fridge. It helps to keep those things fresh and prolongs its shelf life. It’s important to have government standards to make sure that the products we buy will not make us sick or poison us or put us in harms way. Food, medicine, cars, boats and almost everything sold have to meet certain standards.
