What is the difference between General Feedback and Specific Feedback in the Question Edit window?

0

General Feedback is for text that you want to appear underneath a marked question. It should be used to provide either a general explanation of the question’s answer, or additional information of relevance to it. Specific Feedback is linked to a particular answer option, and will appear next to that option. Neither field is mandatory, but most questions can benefit from some additional explanation in General Feedback. You should include specific feedback for most Multiple Choice Questions (general feedback doesn’t tend to work very well for these question types), but also try and use it for specific answer options in text and number questions – it can help ‘personalise’ the learning experience for the trainee.
