What is the difference between Defect, Metric, and Inspection Reports?
• Defect Reports summarize the data based on the number of items that Pass, Fail or Caution. For example, Defect Reports could be used to show how many parts Passed, Failed or Cautioned. • Metric Reports summarize the data based on the number of instances of the particular Metric item and plots numeric data. For example, Metric Reports could be used to show how many times a certain result was recorded. • Inspection Reports displays the results from an individual inspection or audit. For example, Inspection Reports are used to retrieve a specific inspection or audit that had been previously recorded.
