Course Study Images are images selected by faculty for specific courses. They may be all of the images from a given lecture or course, or they may be a series of study images for an exam or project. They are thumbnail images with a brief descriptive label. Usually these images will also be available in IDOL.IDOL (Interior Design OnLine) is NYSID’s digital image database. It is a searchable catalog of images including many of the images used in the curriculum. It works in much the same manner as a library catalog, allowing searching by keyword, subject, title, creator, date, etc. Furthermore, IDOL allows users to see a full record of data on the image as well as the ability to magnify and print images.
