Instructor: Has master access over the site functions. This includes grading assessments, changing grades, enrolling students, assigning students into study groups, deleting items, and publishing tests. Teaching Assistant: Has the same access as a teaching instructor but is not listed as teaching on the course. We recommend this status is primarily given to Admin. Technical and Library staff on the course. Grader: The grader access permits access only to the assessment tools, gradebook, and drop box. Course Builder: Has access to all site functions except the gradebook; is not able to change users’ roles. Student: Enrolled students will have access to all areas in the course site that contain content and assessments. Additional permissions to view the gradebook can be assigned, so students can check their own grades throughout the semester.
