What is the CIAPS year?
CIAPS membership lasts for a year, starting upon the receipt of the enrolment fee. However, at the ‘Accredited’ level the second membership year starts at the certification date. Any changes to the scheme or its standards are announced on January 1st and take effect on the following July 1st. The CIAPS fees are based on a calendar year. Any changes become effective on January 1st and are published in advance on the CIAPS website.
