What is the BRCs response to the Governments proposal on dealing with the problem?
The BRC supports the introduction of legislation requiring the compulsory registration of labour providers, as this will help Government agencies work together to enforce existing laws and stamp out fraudulent activity. We see it in everyone’s interest to concentrate on the effective enforcement of existing legislation by the relevant authorities and agencies so that laws cannot simply be ignored by the criminal.
