What is the average length of treatment?
The process of psychotherapy is hard to describe in general statements since it varies depending upon the unique characteristics and dynamics of the client-therapist relationship, your particular needs and problems, your unique history and skills, and your goals for therapy. We typically see clients for a brief period of time on a weekly basis, based on client needs and goals, and then on a less frequent basis as they implement the actions and changes they selected as the most urgent to meet their needs. Our model is based on a time-limited, action-oriented and goal-directed model that brings about the maximum amount of change toward client goals in the least amount of time. Of course, each person, couple and family have unique needs and requirements. We will help you find the right mix of services for your unique situation.
