What is the Ascent Distributor Rating that appears on the right hand side of the product specification page?
We don’t import product directly ourselves, but buy from local distributors. Some distributors are better than others. To a certain extent the quality of the service we can provide you is dependent on the service we receive from our distributors. This affects such things as timely delivery in the first instance and support if there is a problem with the item later on. In order for you to make a better purchasing decision we have rated our distributors in terms of the following: timeliness of delivery, general support, ability to provide forward replacements, reliability of supply, reliability of pricing and stock information. The rating is a percentage, with 100% being excellent in all areas.
