TAMAGO is a system which offers a Japanese/Chinese environment utilising the network-wide conversion servers (jserver/cserver) of Wnn. Sometimes TAMAGO is called EGG, which is the translation of `TAMAGO’ in English. TAMAGO consists of three parts: • a input string conversion system (or romaji-kana conversion system) • a kana-kanji (and pinyin-hanzi) conversion system • a Japanese editing system. The input string conversion system can be used not only for hiragana and katakana but also for pinyin, hangul, and other languages.
