What is Talkback?

0

A. Quartus II software contains a feature called TalkBack, which bundles information about the current session into an XML file, which is sent over an SSL connection to Altera. The only items sent to Altera are XML files that contain design meta-data, such as device utilization, constraints, information about your operating system (OS) setup, and most importantly, information on software failures for debugging purposes. No design source files are ever sent. TalkBack is ON by default. However, you can disable the TalkBack feature during the software installation.
