What is spray foam?
There are currently two main types of spray foam insulation – open cell and closed cell. Open cell foam is more widely used for existing structures for insulation purposes and sound barriers. Closed cell foam is more rigid and more dense. Just as anything these days, many companies are producing several different types of spray foam, and technology is evolving to make all spray foam even more effective and environmentally friendly.
