What is speed-courting?
Speed-courting (formerly known as spedd-d**ing) is the acceptable modern way for people to meet each other whilst also enjoying a good night out. On arrival at the Culture Vultures venue you will be welcomed and registered by a Culture Vultures team member. There will then be a short period while you will be able to settle in, mingle, get a drink and take in the surroundings of our cool venue. We will give you a brief introduction to the evening explaining everything that you will need to know. You will also receive a prided and much sought after Culture Vultures badge and number for the evening. The Speed Courting event is split into two halves with a short interval in between. During the event ladies always remain seated at their allocated table and the gentlemen move from table to table in numerical order around the room. A whistle blow signifies the end of each courtship and a double blow signifies a break. Each courtship lasts for 4 mins. Enough time to weigh up a potential partne
