What is SIFE About? SIFE is a not-for-profit organization supported by individuals, foundations, and corporations whose mission is to build collegiate SIFE teams who teach free enterprise in order to better individuals, communities, and countries. Who can join SIFE? The SIFE handbook states: “Any person officially enrolled as a graduate or undergraduate student at a college or university, whether full or part-time, is eligible to participate in SIFE. Students who attend classes on more than one campus, or students enrolled in both a two and four-year program at the same time, may participate on more than one team but are only permitted to represent one team at competition.” Who establishes the restrictions and qualifications for membership? Each individual SIFE Team has complete authority to establish restrictions or qualifications for membership beyond those outlined by SIFE National Headquarters.
