If a license agreement permits, Shopping Applications can be defined as supporting Rental. The Shopper is presented with the option of either ‘buying’ or ‘renting’ the Application. A Rented Application is set to automatically uninstall after a selected period. Shopping oversees this process, ensuring the license is returned to the pool and alerting if the Application fails to uninstall. The User is offered an extension to their rental period prior to Rental expiry, up to a defined limit.
