What is SEAM?
SEAM is a collaborative effort between industry partners and the SEG Advanced Modeling Corporation (“SEG SEAM”). SEG SEAM, the Program Director, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the global organization dedicated to advancing the science and technology of applied geophysics. The SEAM mission is to advance the science and technology of applied geophysics through a cooperative industry effort focused on subsurface model construction and generation of synthetic data sets for geophysical problems of importance to the resource extraction industry.
