• SAP NW MDM and Business Objects DQ are great complementary products. While MDM provides a modeling environment, a central repository, generic cleansing and matching capabilities, synchronization and workflow capabilities. Business Objects DQ provides first class address cleansing and fuzzy matching of customer data • Going forward, we see a huge value for both customer bases (SAP and Business Objects) to use both products in concert, where you start a DQ initiative locally in a LOB with address cleansing against a CRM system, and move up towards central management, cleansing and distribution across the complete system landscape. • So starting 2008, there will be a loose integration of the two products. SAP and Business Objects intend to release an integrated version of Business Objects DQ with MDM for enhanced cleansing and matching of addresses and customer data • The name of this combined offering is Master Data Services (or MDM+) • At the same time, SAP will continue to offer SAP
