what is Mormon doctrine.
This Sunday’s program (6/18) will continue the discussion from last week. The relationship between official doctrine and revelation, scripture, Conference addresses, writings of the President and other authorities, official pronouncements and Church publications will be considered. I will draw distinctions between individual Mormon views, Mormon thought, Mormon doctrine (or common doctrine) and official Mormon doctrine. Further, I will present several interesting and thought provoking situations shedding light on this subject. I will provide a number or related sources of interest.
