• Free SMS: sending SMS messages to a free short code is totally free for the sender. As mobile operators charge for every SMS, traffic costs will be invoiced to the game organizer. • Normal SMS or standard rate SMS: the participant pays for the traffic costs (i.e. 0,06€; 0,09 € or 0,12€; depending on the subscription and the operator’s tariff scheme) • Premium SMS: SMS message invoiced at a higher rate than a normal SMS message, currently 0,25 € up to 3,00 € (Luxembourg) • Shared Short Code: Short Code used by by several customers (content/service providers). Dispatching of incoming messages is done by analyzing keywords at the beginning of every message, i.e. message “abc hello” is transferred to customer abc. • Dedicated Short Code: Short Code reserved for one customer, every incoming message is transferred to the customer.
