FireMed is a voluntary ambulance membership program of Eugene Fire & EMS, Lane Rural Fire/Rescue and Springfield Fire & Life Safety.Firemed Basiccovers the member’s out-of-pocket expenses for medically necessary ground ambulance services provided by Eugene, Lane Rural, Springfield or other ambulance providers included in our reciprocal coverage area. You are covered in most of Oregon.Firemed Plusincludes all benefits of Firemed Basic plus emergency 9-1-1 and interhospital air ambulance service provided by REACH Air Medical Services.

FireMed is a Paramedic Emergency Ambulance membership service. Membership is open to anyone within the Keizer Fire District ambulance service district and costs $50 per family per year. Members are provided with: Coverage for emergency ambulance service for serious or life-threatening problems and Coverage for non-emergency ambulance service for non-life-threatening problems where the use of an ambulance is necessary.
