What is faust midas?
I’ve never heard that term, other than in a really -really really horrible song called “Faust, Midas & Myself” by a really terrible and talentless group called the switchfoots or something. It’s really bad. Anyway, that’s the only instance I’ve ever known of those two names being used together. I could be mistaken, but perhaps you misread something which listed their names next to each other in that way. If you don’t know who Faust, and Midas were, you might misunderstand the term to be one single name or concept, when really it is just the name of two fictional characters. If this is not correct, then I have no answers. Other than in this context (as two names side by side) I have never heard the term Faust Midas. I would assume if it were a term, it would have something to do with someone who gets the short end of the stick in a deal with a deity.
