What is eVA?
EVA stands for Ethylene Vinyl Acetate and offer good processability during compounding with various additives. This EVA closed cell foam does not lose its resiliency over time like other foam products; it acts as a cushion. Luggage made of EVA is a compound of EVA and Polyester and some of it’s major characteristics include excellent split tear resistance and hardcase-like structure.

eVA is the acronym for “Electronic Virginia” and is the state’s computerized procurement system, which works via the internet. All State Agencies are required to use eVA to request bids and place orders for supplies and services. If you wish to do business with the Commonwealth of Virginia, you will need to register with eVA, (www.eva.virginia.gov) although orders may be confirmed by fax to you if you prefer. Registration with eVA costs $25 per year plus 1% of the value of any orders, to a maximum of $500 per order for certified Small businesses including Small Minority- and Small Women-owned businesses. When selecting your registration level, you are encouraged to choose the premium service level to allow you to receive electronic quote requests and requests for proposals.
eVA is Virginia’s computer system used to buy and sell goods and services. eVA is used by state agency buyers, higher education buyers, and many local government buyers to order goods and services. These buyers also use eVA to advertise bid and proposal opportunities on the internet. Suppliers who are registered in eVA can choose to receive email notification for bid and proposal opportunities. At no additional cost, registered vendors can also publish electronic catalogs, submit electronic bids and proposals, and access historical purchasing data for market analysis.
