Adaptive exams work differently than their tradition counterparts, as you move through an adaptive exam the next question is based on how you answered the previous question. If you answer correctly, the next question is harder; if you answer incorrectly its easier, therefore you cannot move backwards in an adaptive exam, and you cannot move forward until you choose a response.
