What is call barring?
Call barring is a service that limits which calls you make and receive on your phone. You can bar all incoming, outgoing or international calls. If you bar incoming callers, callers hear a voice message saying that the number has chosen not to receive any calls. You can also bar sending and receiving messages. Monthly users can subscribe to the call barring service online or by contacting customer service. Some phones can use this service without subscribing to it, and this is the only way prepaid customers can use this service.
