The Broomfield Substance and Alcohol Free Environment (BSAFE) program was made possible by a federal Drug Free Communities Support Program grant. The program addresses alcohol and substance use issues among teens in our community. The initiative includes two substance abuse coordinators to provide direct services to teens, public education, community awareness, and school and community based prevention with regard to alcohol and substance use. Services are provided through individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling and support groups, and school and community presentations.
