What is BHI?
• BHI or Behavioral HealthCare, Inc. is a non-profit Managed Care Company. • BHI holds the Medicaid Mental Health contract in Arapahoe, Adams, and Douglas Counties, including the City of Aurora. • If you have Medicaid, and live in Arapahoe, Adams or Douglas Counties, you are automatically enrolled in BHI when you receive Medicaid benefits. • BHI manages mental health benefits and will be important to you if you seek mental health services. • BHI contracts with a number of mental health providers. Community Reach Center, Aurora Mental Health Center, and Arapahoe/Douglas Mental Health Network are BHI’s primary providers. • In addition, BHI maintains a network of independent providers with locations throughout the Denver Metro area.
