What is Beta Club?
Beta Club is an academic and service oriented club. 7th and 8th graders who are members meet every other Tuesday to discuss and work on events and service projects that the club wants to do. Every spring we attend the state convention in downtown Louisville. This is a two-day event that every enjoys. Students who win at the state level in various competitions are then eligible for National Convention. In June 2007 BMS had 4 representatives attend in Nashville, Tn and we placed in two events: T-shirt design (5th) and Cross stitch (2nd). Nationals will be held in the following cities over the next few years: 2008 – Myrtle Beach, 2009 – Orlando, 2010 – Louisville.
