What is BadgerLink?
BadgerLink is a project of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI), Division for Libraries, Technology, and Community Learning. Its goal is to provide access to quality online information resources for Wisconsin residents in cooperation with the state’s public, school, academic, and special libraries and Internet Service Providers.
Badgerlink is a program supported and funded through the Department of Public Instruction-Division of Libraries, Technology and Community Learning. Its goal is to provide increased access to information for Wisconsin residents in cooperation with the state’s library community. Badgerlink contains magazines, journals, newspapers and other information by providing access to the EBSCOhost periodical databases and ProQuest newspaper databases. Badgerlink also provides links to reference sites, government links to Wisconsin states and some federal and foreign agencies, education and library sites. To use these resources, you must be a Wisconsin resident and/or access the materials from a Wisconsin library. Wisconsin residents with personal Internet accounts can use the magazine and newspaper databases from their accounts if their Internet Service Provider has registered its IP addresses with the DPI library division.
