What is another type of dehumidifier?
An air conditioner is another type of dehumidifier that not only cools moist air to the dew point to produce a condensate but delivers the cool air to the living space to add comfort in hot climates. The simpler mechanical dehumidifier noted in question #2 usually reheats the cool air by passing it over coils with hot refrigerant to make the refrigeration cycle work.
