As Anglicans, we’re part of a vibrant global fellowship of churches established over the centuries, a church that is experiencing tremendous growth and renewal in many locations, particularly in Africa and Asia. This Anglican heritage provides a richness of meaning in faith, worship and practice We are committed to the Bible as the Word of God — it is God breathed and it is the truth by which we order our lives. We also believe that Jesus is the unique Son of God — that salvation is found only in His sacrificial death and resurrection. This faith is summed up in the historic statements of belief such as the Nicene Creed and the 39 Articles. We celebrate the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as commanded by Jesus and we uphold the historic order of Bishops in the administration of the church’s life and mission.
