What is ANGEL?
ANGEL is a learning management system that provides you access to online courses and learning tools. MyClarkState (frequently, informally referred to as Angel) is the College’s learning management system and is available at http://my.clarkstate.edu. Angel is used to deliver online and hybrid courses electronically and can be used to supplement traditional courses. It also provides the Clark State community with a calendar of events, campus-wide announcements and links to other online student services.
ANGEL is an online learning system that university faculty can use to deliver all or part of a regularly scheduled university course. If the instructor is using ANGEL, students can find information about courses, such as announcements, course documents, syllabi, presentations or links to other Web sites. For more information about ANGEL.
ANGEL is a lot like WebCT, it is a course management system (ANGEL prefers the term Learning Management System) which allows instructors to share course specific materials with students. The material can include an online syllabus, assignment drop-boxes, online discussion posts, gradebooks, course specific email, and files of all types. ANGEL can be used at a very basic level to enhance the classroom experience by sharing files, or it can be used to host a course completely online.
