What is Almas freshman orientation like?
At Alma, there are two orientation programs: Becoming a Scot Day and Preterm. Becoming a Scot Day occurs during the summer and introduces you to your fellow students, our online course registration system, and other aspects of life at Alma College. You also receive your student ID at Becoming a Scot Day. Preterm occurs the week before classes begin at Alma College. All freshmen move into campus a week before the rest of the students and spend that week taking one class, learning their way around campus and getting to know their classmates. We even have a group of upperclassmen called the Orientation Committee there to make sure you have a great time! Move-in and Preterm dates are listed on the portal, and specific details will be available during the summer.
