What is accreditation and what is its importance?
Although the State Department of Vocational Education does not require outside accreditation, it is encouraged as a recognition of standards in the industry. The Center for Therapeutic Massage is in the process of seeking accreditation. Because we have made a committment to remaining a small, personalized school, this expensive process is difficult for us. However, we feel that the educational merits and value of our school speak for themselves. We encourage students to speak with former graduates and to review former students’ employment records to emphasize that our school meets the standards set by the industry.
