What is a Yagna?
Ans :-The Vedic sages laid the foundation of the ritual of Yagna or offering of worship material in the holy fire accompanied by Mantra chanting. Our sages were researchers and scientists of the highest caliber and none has understood the relationship between man and Nature as deeply as they did. Yagna is a very important science in itself. It is a Vedic ritual according to the ancient texts. There is no other better means for purification of the environment than a Yagna. It is only by the virtue of Yagnas that each atom of the atmosphere can be transformed into pure Pran Vayu. Whether a Yagna is performed with some wish in mind or selflessly, its effect on the atmosphere can surely be observed. It is the duty of every being to support such causes the best he can.
