What is a window shopper
Window Shopper is the default role for all UCSD employees with Single Sign-on access. The Window Shopper role allows you to shop, place items in your shopping cart, and then assign the cart to another person in your department who adds an index and completes the order. To search for a cart designee from your department or group, click the Assign Cart button. Note: If you only order occasionally, this role is right for you. However, if you order frequently or are the primary buyer for your department or group, you may want to speak with your Marketplace Department Administrator about changing your role to that of an Index Informed Shopper or Department Buyer.
