What Is A Vestibule?
It’s a passage or small room attached usually to the outside of a tent door. It can be used for storing wet or extra gear. Vestibules are great for storing gear but a full vestibule can inhibit airflow into the tent as well as make it more difficult to get in and out of the tent. Vestibules are almost exclusively used on backpacking tents as they tend to make entry/exit more difficult in family tents.
