What is a typical online writing course like? And how will I interact with classmates and instructors?
In a typical course, students will encounter a series of weekly lessons, which will include hand-selected readings, discussion points and short writing assignments designed to help students refine their craft. In the second half of the course, students will write longer pieces and workshop them with fellow students and the instructor. Using online discussion boards and chat rooms, each student will receive constructive commentary from the instructor and feedback from their peers.
