What is a Task?
• How do I create a Task? To create a Task, select the ‘Tasks’ option in the right hand toolbar in either ‘Personal Contacts’ or ‘Doorbell’. The ‘Type of task’ drop menu will describe the specific event. The note body can be detailed in the ‘type a note here’ box. You can select the day and the time in the ‘When’ section. The ‘Add Extras’ option will allow you to send yourself a file you may need associated with the task. When you are finished hit save and the ‘Task’ will appear in the ‘Tasks’ menu in your ‘Personal Contacts’ interface. As well, the ‘Task’ will be sent to the ‘Tasks’ inbox in the ‘Lounge’ of SmibsNet. • How do I manage my Tasks? You can manage your Tasks through the Lounge or through the ‘Tasks’ option in ‘Personal Contacts’ or ‘Doorbell’. From here, you can edit, delete, complete or review your Tasks.
