A tag cloud visually depicts the popularity of tags in the ALTC Exchange. Size reflects popularity. The larger the font, the more often users have used this tag to categorise their content (see example below).

A Tag Cloud is a random list of all available tags(keywords) that can be searched for with the images on the site. To search for a word in the Tag Cloud, just click on that word link and all available results will be shown.

A tag cloud is simply a way to view a group of tags in a denser way than a list would ordinarily allow. Since tag clouds arrange tags both horizontally and vertically, you can see more tags with less scrolling. They can be sorted both alphabetically and by size, and we employ some visual cues such as text sizing and bolding to represent more often used tags.
