What is a soft credit?

0

A soft credit is given when a person did not actually give a donation but in some way is involved. Examples include when you make a gift using your family foundation or other entity that receives the actual tax credit (that makes the actual donation) but for which you wish to receive recognition, or to recognize a person who helped initiate a gift made by someone else. Please contact us is you wish your gift to be soft-credited to you or someone else.
