What is a simple chemical experiment you can do at home?

Have you ever mixed baking soda and vinegar together? Mixing these two substances creates a swelling foam concoction that has many uses. One of the most helpful uses I have come across is unclogging drains that flow too slowly. In my kitchen sink drain, I poured 1 cup baking soda into the drain. I got my drain stopper ready in one hand and then I poured 1 cup white vinegar down the drain as well. I plugged the drain with the stopper because the foam would come rushing up the drain, but this forces the foam down the drain instead. The baking soda and vinegar creates a chemical reaction which not only creates heat, but also dissolves fats. After I let that sit in the drain for about 5-10 minutes, I pour about half a gallon of boiling water down the drain to wash the clog away. Not only would you be doing an experiment, you’d be doing yourself or your parents a great service. Have you ever used baking soda and white vinegar to make a simulated volcano eruption? One way you can do this so
