What is a Seat or Tank Skin?
Seat and Tank Skin” is the name that Second Look originated to describe our custom replacement seat covers and tank bras. The original black seat upholstery can easily be removed with a thin flat screwdriver and pliers. The new upgraded Second Look skin incorporating the colors and graphics of your bike can then be installed over the original seat base and foam. Skins are available for most 1984 and newer sportbikes. Our seat skins became a HIT with “Motorcyclist” magazine in 1989 when our “re-skinned” ZX-7 was spotted by editor Nick Ienatsch at Sears Point Raceway!
